Grab containers present small parts such as screws, clips or electronic components within easy reach at the assembly workstation. Bosch Rexroth grab containers hang in the material supply of the manual production systems and are arranged to keep reach distances short and avoid mix-ups. Covers protect the contents from dust; funnels make refilling easier.

Well-planned parts supply shortens cycle times and reduces errors: when every container has a fixed position and clear labelling, operators reliably pick the right part. Replenishment can also be organised predictably, for instance on the kanban principle with refilling from the rear of the workstation.

Versions and selection criteria

• Size: grab containers GB-0805, GB-1205, GB-1210 and GB-1710 as well as versions such as VG 180x90 – matched to the parts quantity and grid width of the supply rack.
• Material/colour: standard version, black ESD version for electrostatically sensitive parts, and red version, e.g. to mark rejects or special parts.
• Covers: matching GB-A container covers in transparent, ESD black or red.
• Funnels: 90x45, 90x90 and 180x90 for refilling from the rear.
• Accessories: label clips, end plates (also ESD) and a drilling template for mounting.
