Profiles and panels as the basis of every structure
Aluminium structural profiles form the load-bearing framework for machine frames, safety fences, enclosures, work tables and fixtures. item profiles have continuous grooves in which fasteners, T-slot nuts and add-on parts can be attached at any point. Panel elements then close the frames to form walls, doors or covers, providing visibility, protection or separation. This category contains more than 1,400 items from both areas.
Selection criteria and versions
- Line: the number in the name (5, 6, 8, 12) indicates the groove width and therefore the size class, from slender line 5 profiles for light structures to line 12 profiles for heavy frames
- Cross-section: from 20x10 to 240x120 mm; larger cross-sections increase rigidity
- Light or standard: light profiles save weight and material, standard profiles are designed for higher loads
- Finish: natural or black
- Special profiles: e.g. roller track profiles for sliding applications or X line profiles
- Panel elements: acrylic glass, also tinted, for visibility or screening; aluminium corrugated mesh for air-permeable guard walls

Which line is right for my project?
It depends on load, size and desired appearance. Lines 5 or 6 are often sufficient for table-top structures and light covers, line 8 is commonly used for machine frames and safety fences, and line 12 for large, heavy structures.
Can I combine profiles from different lines?
Yes, suitable fasteners allow different lines to be joined. Check the information on groove width and connector.
Can I get profiles cut to length?
Yes, use the cutting service or configurator. This saves sawing work and offcuts in your own workshop.
