Discharging static electricity in a controlled way
Moving trolleys and equipment can build up electrostatic charges. In many areas such charges are undesirable, for example in electronics manufacturing with sensitive components or in environments where sparks must be avoided. Antistatic and electrically conductive wheels ensure that charges are discharged via the wheel to the floor. This requires a floor that is also dissipative.
Versions and selection
- Wheels of types G 100/15IK, G 125/15IK, G 127/20IK, G 150/20IK, G 200/20IK and G 250/25IK
- Antistatic wheels have a higher discharge resistance than electrically conductive wheels; which version you need depends on your requirements
- Further selection criteria are load capacity, diameter and axle mounting
