Selection criteria and versions

• Material: polyamide (PA) for light doors, die-cast zinc (Zn) and steel (St) for higher loads.
• Handing: some PA hinges come in left- and right-hand versions.
• Design: single and double hinges; Zn hinges such as 6 30 Zn also connect different lines (6/6, 6/8, 8/8).
• Sliding doors: sliding door guide sets, rollers 5, 6 and 8, groove rollers and groove sliders.
• Slide guides and shutters: slide guide strips (2000 mm lengths), roller shutter slide strips and slat insulation.
• Fastening: matching fastening sets for mounting on the profile side.

PA, zinc or steel hinge – which one?

PA hinges are usually sufficient for light doors and covers. For heavier doors or tougher use, zinc or steel hinges are the more robust choice.

What does 6/8 on a hinge mean?

It indicates the lines of the two profiles being connected, e.g. a Line 6 door frame on a Line 8 frame.
