The Blickle range at KSK Components

Blickle wheels and castors are used wherever loads need to be moved: on trolleys, equipment, machines, industrial trucks and in special applications. At KSK Components the extensive Blickle programme is organised by tread, material and application. This lets you quickly find the right group – from apparatus castors for equipment and furniture and wheels with polyurethane, rubber or plastic treads to cast iron and steel wheels for heavy loads.

Product groups and selection criteria

  • By tread and material: rubber, polyurethane, polyamide and polypropylene, cast iron and steel, pneumatic and super-elastic tyres as well as stainless steel castors.
  • By operating conditions: antistatic and electrically conductive wheels, heat-resistant wheels and castors, spring-loaded castors.
  • By function: apparatus castors, compact and lifting castors, guide rollers, flanged wheels, drive wheels, flange-mount wheels and basic wheels.
  • For industrial trucks: wheels and castors for pallet trucks and forklifts as well as tyres and tread bands.
  • Special solutions: system and custom solutions including accessories.

The main selection criteria are load capacity, floor conditions, rolling resistance, floor protection, ambient conditions such as temperature or moisture, and the design – swivel castor, fixed castor, with or without brake.

Frequently asked questions

How do I determine the required load capacity per castor?

Divide the total weight of vehicle and load by the number of castors. Because not all castors carry load on uneven floors, calculations for four castors are often based on only three load-bearing castors in practice.

Which tread protects the floor?

Elastic treads such as rubber or polyurethane are gentler on floors and quieter than hard materials such as polyamide or steel, which in turn can offer lower rolling resistance.

What is the difference between swivel and fixed castors?

Swivel castors rotate around the vertical axis and allow steering, while fixed castors run straight only and ensure directional stability.
