item Material Provision with Grip Containers
Grip containers, container fixings, trays, swivel arms and frame profile connectors for ergonomic material provision at item workstations.
Ergonomic material provision
Short reach distances and a clear arrangement of parts are the foundation of efficient assembly stations. Material provision from the item Workplace System keeps small parts in the optimum reach zone, clearly labelled and refillable from the rear. The elements are mounted on the workstation profiles and can be moved quickly when products change.
Components and versions
- Grip containers: in several sizes, e.g. 80x40, 120x40 or 160x80, each also as ESD versions, plus grip containers 8 for direct profile mounting.
- Fixings: grip container fixings 40 and 80, container fixing 8 and fastening sets for container profile 8 80x40.
- Labelling: label cards for grip containers.
- ESD trays: in sizes 6x4 and 8x6 for parts and assemblies.
- Swivel arms: light and heavy swivel arms, double swivel arms and height adjustment units to bring parts or devices within reach.
- Frame profile corner connection sets: for building provision frames, including a 180° version, plus sealing cord.
Plan provision according to part size, consumption and assembly sequence. In ESD areas all containers should be dissipative. Frequently used parts belong in the central reach zone, less frequently used parts in the outer rows. Consistent labelling also makes replenishment easier for logistics staff.
