What are toggle clamps used for?

Toggle clamps hold workpieces in welding, assembly and inspection fixtures, secure lids and covers or join parts detachably. The toggle principle makes the clamp lock automatically in its end position. In addition to manual toggle clamps, push-pull clamps and power clamps, this Ganter group includes pneumatic toggle and swing clamps for automated processes as well as latch clamps and tension latches for drawing parts together.
