Connection technology for aluminum profiles

Connection elements are the link in the profile kit. They join strut profiles at right angles, in line or at an angle, and fasten accessories such as panels, holders, sensors or cable ducts in the profile slot. Bosch Rexroth offers a comprehensive range for slot sizes 6, 8 and 10. Most connections require little machining and can be released at any time.

Versions and selection criteria

  • T-nuts (hammer nuts) for slots 6, 8 and 10 with M4 to M8 threads that can be swivelled into the slot after assembly.
  • Slot nuts and slot nut strips, also in stainless steel, for fixed attachment points.
  • Bolt connectors for slots 8 and 10 in various lengths for concealed end connections.
  • Anti-rotation elements for slots 8 and 10 to stop profiles from turning.
  • Adapters for D28L and EcoShape tube systems, plus anchors and mounting brackets.

Key factors are slot size, thread size, connection load, whether an element must be inserted after assembly and whether the joint should be visible or concealed.

Connection elements at KSK Components

KSK Components stocks an extensive range of Bosch Rexroth connectors and supplies matching strut profiles cut to length on request. Standard parts from manufacturers such as Otto Ganter complement the range. Registered business customers see their customer group prices in the shop.

Frequently asked questions

T-nut or slot nut?

T-nuts can be inserted into the slot from the front after assembly. Slot nuts are usually slid in from the profile end and provide a firm fit.

What are bolt connectors used for?

For concealed end connections between two profiles, for example on frames where a clean look is required.

Which slot size does my profile have?

The slot size is stated in the profile name, for example slot 8 or slot 10.
