Conveyor Technology from the item Building Kit
Transport rollers, roller elements, slide strips and chain guides from item – components for roller conveyors, belt conveyors and workpiece carrier systems based on profiles.
Conveyor technology straight from the profile system
With the conveyor technology of the item building kit, you build conveying and transport solutions directly on aluminium profiles. Because all parts are inserted into or fastened in the profile groove, conveyor sections can later be extended, modified or adapted to new containers. Transport rollers and roller elements form roller conveyors for containers and workpiece carriers, slide strips reduce friction when pushing goods or on chain conveyors, and chain guide profiles keep conveyor chains running cleanly in the profile. Additional parts such as brakes, brush inserts and rail supports complete the range.
Selection criteria and versions
- Transport rollers TR32, TR50 and TRA50 with bearing sets, bearing block sets and housing end caps; the TRA50 is also available in a driven version
- Roller elements 8 80, with or without flange for lateral guidance, also ESD
- Roller rail 8 40x40 with brake and D30 roller inserts
- Slide strips for lines 5, 6 and 8 in ESD design plus sliding wedge 8
- Chain guide profile 8 and chain link 1/2 for chain conveyors
- Groove profiles 8 with M8 thread as a mounting base
- ESD brush insert and brush set, rail support 8/5
Key selection factors are the goods conveyed, weight, container base, the required drive type and any ESD requirements.

FAQ
Roller element or slide strip – which is better?
Rollers suit heavier loads and gravity conveying, slide strips are suitable for light goods, pushing movements or as a support for chains.
What is the flange for?
It guides containers laterally and prevents them from running off the roller conveyor.
Are driven rollers available?
Yes, a driven bearing set is available for the TRA50 transport roller.
